Self storage prices in Poland: compare the full cost, not just the headline
A low advertised rent is useful only when you know what it covers. Before booking storage in Poland, compare quotes for the same size, dates and access requirements. A small locker, a large outdoor container and an indoor room are different products, even when their prices appear together in search results.

Start with a quote for an actual unit
Tell each operator what you want to store and when you expect to collect it. Ask for the floor area, internal dimensions and available access hours. A price per square metre is a comparison tool, not necessarily the amount you will be charged. Make sure the quoted unit is available for your intended start date.
Check the billing period and currency
Keep prices in Polish złoty when comparing Polish offers. If your bank account uses another currency, allow separately for conversion charges. Weekly, four-weekly and monthly rents cover different periods. Four weeks mean 28 days, so multiplying a weekly price by four does not produce a calendar-month price. Ask for a written total covering your actual dates.
Separate discounts from the regular rent
Record how long an introductory discount lasts and what you will pay afterwards. Check whether the offer requires advance payment or a minimum stay. An attractive first payment may be less useful if your move lasts several months. Ask what happens to the discount if you leave earlier than expected, rather than assuming that unused time is refundable.
List the other payments
Request an itemised quote showing whether VAT is included, how insurance is arranged and whether you need to buy a particular lock. Ask about administration fees and the deposit. A refundable deposit affects the money needed at the beginning, but should be shown separately from the rental cost. Do not assume that every operator charges the same extras.
Compare the whole stay
Put each written quote beside its date, unit dimensions, billing period, access hours and cancellation conditions. Include transport costs if a cheaper facility is much farther away. Use SpaceAtlas to find possible locations, then confirm the final price directly with the operator. A published starting price is a useful lead, but it cannot guarantee the cost or availability of a particular room.
